Sari served on the Board of Directors of the Women's Business Center, a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to entrepreneurship, and for two years, she served as its Chair. For three years, she served on the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra. Sari is a past Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association of New Hampshire.

Formerly, she was the General Counsel and Secretary of the Velcro companies where she directed the US and international tax and legal affairs for 10 years. Prior legal positions include Partner at Pepe & Hazard LLP and Senior Associate at Wiggin & Nourie, P.A. Prior tax positions include Tax Manager at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Tax Specialist at Arthur Andersen in Boston.
